Thumhart Event Consulting is owned by Amy Thumhart. After
graduating from Pepperdine University in 1997 with a degree in
Sports Marketing, Amy became the Travel and Events Director for
America True, a San Francisco-based syndicate competing in the
America’s Cup 2000. It was there in Auckland, New Zealand that
she fell in love with events and decided upon her return to start
her own event planning company.

Amy lives in the wine country with her husband, daughter, dogs
and cat and spends as much time as possible exploring all there is
to see, eat and drink. With a strong desire to learn everything she
can about the local food and delicious wines that are made
here – the majority of their time is spent with friends enjoying
the beauty of this area.

Thumhart Event Consuling is a professional member of the
Association of Bridal Consultants and a founding member of the
Wedding Industry Professionals Association.
