Thumhart Event Consulting is owned and operated by Amy Thumhart. Amy began her career in special events as the Travel and Event Director for America True, a San Francisco-based syndicate competing in the America's Cup 2000. It was there in Auckland, New Zealand that she developed her flair for high-class, exclusive events that are synonymous with America's Cup racing.

After America's Cup 2000, Amy decided to start her own special event company based in the fabulous wine country of Northern California. It is here that she plans some of the most beautiful and unique wedding celebrations and special events in the beautiful Bay Area.

Amy lives in the wine country with her husband and beloved dogs and cat. She loves exploring the local foods and wine and sharing them with friends and family and is quite familiar with all of the local golf courses where she loves to spend time with her husband.
